for the treatment of Fungal Nails
The Lacuna Method works by forming many tiny holes (fenestration) in the infected nail plate. The nails are then treated with Terbinafine 1% spray, which penetrates directly to the source of infection – the infected nail bed. The damaged nail grows out.
The Lacuna method has shown to be a very effective way of eradicating fungal nail infections in recent studies and is often the preferred treatment of choice, particularly when chemists’ over-the-counter remedies have failed, or where taking prescribed Terbinafine tablets is undesirable.
An initial assessment is necessary to discuss the course of treatment and ascertain its suitability in each case. A test for fungal nail may be necessary.
